Locking parts

Each Part menu contains several locking options for that part. You can lock the following aspects of the selected part(s) by checking the relevant boxes:

• Property editing: Choose the locking option to make the following part features inactive:
  • The Properties pane
  • Any part controls (such as sliders or editable text)
  • Associated Presentation parts .
• Position: Choose the locking option to fix the position of the selected part(s).
• Size: Choose the locking option to prevent resizing of the selected part(s).
• Orientation: Choose the locking option to prevent rotation of the selected part(s) for layout purposes.
